June is Pride Month.
I photographed this mural the other day here in Lisbon. I like the combination of the rainbow with the carnage-Portugal’s Liberty symbol. Like in so many places around the world, the Queer community is navigating growing challenges here as well. Celebrating Pride Month is not enough.
