Manifest Yourself

Photo of the Week

No Waste – part 2!

The Photo of the Week is back as summer winds down, and I’m returning to something close to my heart: the What a Waste project here in Lisbon. This is my second post on their work—this time with a fresh set of photos capturing more moments from their inspiring event.

In late August, I joined the gathering and documented their creative approach to sustainable fashion—rethinking how we wear, repair, and reimagine clothing. But it’s more than fashion. The day blended artistry with music, community, and a queer spirit of sharing that felt welcoming, inspiring, and full of hope.

I’m also excited that What a Waste will be part of Oliver’s A.U.R.A. book launch next Friday evening—another chance to experience their creativity and vision in action.

Sustainability often begins with small steps, and projects like What a Waste show how powerful collective action can be. If you’d like to explore more, check out What a Waste on Instagram—follow them, support them, or join in. And if you’re curious about the complete photo series, you can find it on my Flickr page: [LINK].

My Focus: Making Queer Events More Visible

This season, I’ll be highlighting queer events and people that connect with my passions for inclusivity, creativity, and sustainability. Do you know of any events—or would you like to take part in a photo shoot? I’d love to hear your ideas, inspiration, or collaborations. Contact me, please 😉
